Der film über ein Projekt von Christopher Kirkleys genannt "Sahel Sounds". Er besitzt ein independent-label und reist durch die Sahelzone in Afrika, finden Musiker mit einem einzigartigen sound. Die Musik, die er verwendet für seine vinyl-Veröffentlichung wird Häufig im low-audio-Qualität, aber authentisch. Die Graphik zeigt den gesamten Prozess, von der Aushandlung eines fairen Umgang mit-Musiker an der Produktion der vinyl. Er organisiert auch Tourneen, die in der Film, den er auf einer Reise mit Mamman Sani und Mdou Moctar, zwei Musiker, die gefunden wurden durch Kirkleys in Niger.
