Sie hängen in Clubs herum, klappern Bordelle ab und düsen im Cabrio durch die Nacht. Sie leben von kleinen Diebstählen und lesen am Omonia-Platz Freier auf. Das sind die Gemeinsamkeiten, die die Gruppe von jungen 'Pontioi' verbindet - griechische Russen, die von der Schwarzmeerküste stammen und jetzt in 'Menidi' leben, einem heruntergekommenen, verarmten Viertel am westlichen Stadtrand Athens. Vor ein paar Jahren sind sie aus Kasachstan nach Griechenland eingewandert. Seither fühlen sie sich in ihrer neuen Heimat als Ausgeschlossene, obwohl sie, wie ihr Anführer Sasha (Stathis Papadopoulos) immer wieder betont, griechische Vorfahren haben. Sie sind auf Abenteuer scharf, die Großstadt empfinden sie als Herausforderung. Eine verführerische Macht geht von ihr aus. Also legen sie los und machen vor nichts Halt.
