Der Film ist aufgeteilt in 4 Abschnitte. Die erste ist über die 70er Jahre, als die italienische Gesellschaft vor dem "sex, drugs and r' N 'r" - Kultur. Viele Zeugen aus jenen Jahren befragt über Ihre eigenen Erfahrungen als Drogenabhängige oder sex-Konsumenten: vor allem die eingehenden "gay liberation" Politik fokussiert sind. Der zweite Teil ist über die 80er Jahre: das neue virus Hiv kommt in Italien, aus den Usa und es wird eine tragische Krankheit. Durch die Erzählungen der Zeitzeugen können wir die Atmosphäre von Angst und Panik um die ersten Opfer, und auch die ersten versuche der medizinischen Forschung etwas zu finden, stoppen die Infektion. Der Dritte Teil ist über die 90er Jahre. Jetzt die Zeugen sprechen über die neue "life style" von den Hiv-positiven Menschen: Sie sterben nicht mehr, kann aber Leben Dank neuer Medikamente, und so werden die Probleme größer und komplexer werden, zunächst alle Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Gesellschaft und deren Akzeptanz. Der vierte Teil ist über das erste Jahrzehnt des neuen Jahrhunderts, wenn neue Artikel kommen ...
