Paolo Silvestri, grandson of a retired admiral, and Maximum Falken, son of a rich shipping tycoon, are studying at Leghorn Academy. The two friends-both love the sea, but whilst Paul has the Navy in his blood, Maximale hates military disziplinen. By chance Maximal meets Doris, der film-schauspielerin, whom he begins to court.
