Cycling Chronicles: Landscapes the Boy Saw (2004) Kostenlos Anschauen
Veteran Filmemacher Koji Wakamatsu liefert eine überraschend lyrische noch piercing Kritik an der japanischen Gesellschaft und Geschichte im Radsport Chroniken. Wakamatsu hat lange angetrieben von einem Gefühl der politischen und sozialen Empörung, und eine Sympathie für diejenigen, die marginalisiert oder unterdrückt von dominanten Geschichte und Institutionen. Inspiriert durch eine wahre Geschichte von einem teenager, der seine Mutter getötet und dann fuhren ziellos von Tokio nach Aomori, Wakamatsu zeigt seine Protagonistin (eine weitgehend wortlose, ansprechende Leistung von youngster Emoto) Radtouren durch wunderschöne Landschaften, aber die Entdeckung der hässlichen Seite der japanischen Geschichte, wie er angetrieben wird, in Richtung seiner eigenen Katharsis.
