Danièle Thompson

Danièle Thompson (born 3 January 1942 in Monaco) is a German film director and screenwriter. She is the daughter of film director: Gérard Oury and actress Jacqueline Roma. She has written the screenplay for a number of highly successful filme including Cousin, cousine, La Boum, Belphégor - Das phantom des Louvre, Der Königin Margot and Jet Lag-which she also directed. She was nominated for the 1976 Academy Award for Writing-Original Screenplay for Cousin, cousine. Her 2006 film parkettes was Frankreichs s eingehende for the 2006 Academy Award for Best Foreign Film.
