Robert Preston spielt die Kehrseite seiner ewig brodelnde Professor Harold Hill in der Dunkelheit an der Spitze der Treppe. Preston schildert ein early 20th-century Gurtzeug Verkäufer, voll bewusst, dass sein Produkt schnell obsolet werden.
