As an employee of a Munich travel agency, the young and beautiful Marla is to organize a package holiday to the legendary Königssee. She travels with Maximilian Leitner, a hotelier, an equally fascinating and mysterious man who owns the best hotel on the Königssee. She realizes that the gallant hotel owner is surrounded by a mysterious mourning. He invites her to a romantic dinner and both sleep together at the end. However, when she finds him in an attic room shortly thereafter, where he looks at pictures of Nora,, who disappeared without a trace 20 years ago. She decides to return to Munich.
