Colonel Torres und sein Killer-Assistent Flores wollen einen riesigen Goldschatz, der in einem sagenumwobenen Tempel versteckt ist, rauben. Der Tempel, von Felsen verborgen, gehört den Tulapan-Indianern. Das Vorhaben scheitert, die Indianer haben den Eindringlingen eine tödliche Falle gestellt. Aber der Colonel gibt nicht so schnell auf. Er läßt eine alte Indianerin töten, die das Geheimnis dieses Tempels kannte. Die Tochter der Indianerin, ein bildhübsches Mädchen mit langen blonden Haaren – ihr Vater war ein Weisser – schwört Rache. Yellow, so heisst das Halbblut, erlebt an der Seite des jungen Abenteurers Pecos Kid die gefährlichste Zeit ihres Lebens.
