Mitten im Kalten Krieg besucht Ieva aus Riga ihren Vater in New York. Dort erfährt sie: Er ist Doppelagent für den KGB und für die CIA. Jetzt will er zu den Amerikanern überlaufen und stellt Ieva vor die Entscheidung, ob sie bei ihm bleiben will.
