Basierend auf dem Leben und Werk des in Korea berühmten Dichters Yun Dong-Ju. Dong Ju, während dem Studium der Literatur in Japan, wurde angeklagt und verhaftet wegen Teilnahme an der koreanischen Unabhängigkeitsbewegung. Bekannte haben Hunderte von Gedichten, die während seiner Zeit im Gefängnis, wo er verbrachte die letzten zwei Jahre seines Lebens, Dong-Ju starb im Jungen Alter von 27 Jahren. Obwohl es nicht bewiesen ist, glauben einige, er starb aufgrund medizinischer Experimente, die durchgeführt wurden, auf seinen lebendigen Körper.
