Faszinierende 12-minütige Dokumentarfilm von Edison verfügt über einen Mann in einem kleinen Boot gezogen wird (von einem Pferd am Ufer) auf der Potomac Fluss. Beginnend in Cumberland, Maryland und in Washington, DC, in diesem kurzen folgt der Mann, der ziemlich viel nur sieht die verschiedenen Teile entlang des Flusses. Für einen film aus dem Jahr 1917, das ist nicht allzu beeindruckend, wie die Kamera-Arbeit ist nichts besonderes und man könnte sagen, die story war sehr schwach, wenn man bedenkt, was andere Arten von Filmen waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlicht.
