Exploding Plastic Inevitable, manchmal einfach genannt Plastic Inevitable oder EPI, war eine Serie von multimedia-events, organisiert von Andy Warhol, die zwischen 1966 und 1967, mit musikalischen Darbietungen von The Velvet Underground und Nico, Vorführungen von Warhols Filmen und zu tanzen und die Leistungen von Stammgästen, die Warhol ' s Factory, vor allem, Mary Woronov und Gerard Malanga. Es ist auch der Titel des 18-minütigen film von Ronald Nameth mit Aufnahmen von einer Woche an Aufführungen, die shows wurden gefilmt in Chicago, Illinois, 1966.
