Ein Dokumentarfilm über den Pionier Fotografen des männlichen "beefcakes" Alan B. Stein, der film erzählt über sein Leben, Zeiten und Leistungen in einer kurzen, aber umfassenden film. Dies wird angezeigt durch vintage footage, alte Bilder und ein abwechslungsreiches interviews, die eine ruhige, Fotograf und Geschäftsmann, leidet entsetzlich schmerzhaft arthritis seit seinen späten teenager-Jahren, die wurde seiner Zeit der Meister der homo-erotische Fotografie, während die übrigen in vielerlei Hinsicht einen gemeinsamen Vorort-dweller. Aber er hat die Liebe in der Vorstadt, er war in der Liebe mit seiner Stadt Montreal, vielleicht seine Dritte größte Liebe nach der Fotografie und seine männlichen Modelle. Dies wird besonders durch die alten Bilder, und viele Proben von seiner Arbeit. Er leise erhob sich gegen die moralischen Konventionen der nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg in Kanada, so dass die Schönheit der Tausende von Bodybuildern, Fischer, Bauarbeiter, cowboys, und dergleichen, zu einer Zeit, wenn extreme Diskretion erforderlich war.
