Frank Zappas Konzerte in Hollywoods ´Roxy Theatre` im Dezember 1973 sind legendär. Zappa und The Mothers spielten am 8., 9. und 10. Dezember an drei aufeinanderfolgenden Nächten, diese Shows bildeten die Grundlage für das 1974 veröffentlichte Album „Roxy & Elsewhere". Gleichzeitig wurden die Shows auf 16mm- Film festgehalten, das Material befand sich seitdem in Zappas Schatzkammer. Jetzt wurden die Aufnahmen vom Zappa Family Trust komplett restauriert und zum allerersten Mal zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie zeigen Frank Zappa und The Mothers auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Schaffenskraft und umfassen einzigartiges Material. Für Zappa-Fans, die seit Jahren sehnlich auf diese Filmaufnahmen gewartet haben, ist dies eine höchst bedeutsame Veröffentlichung. Das Bonusmaterial umfasst zusätzlich die Nummern ´Medley: Pygmy Twylyte / The Idiot Bastard Son` und ´Dickies's Such An Asshole`.
