Hal Smith

Harold John "Hal" Smith (August 24, 1916 – 28. Jänner 1994) war ein amerikanischer Charakter-Schauspieler und Synchronsprecher. Smith ist bekannt als Otis Campbell, der Stadt, die betrunken auf Der Andy Griffith Show, und war die Stimme der vielen Zeichen, die auf verschiedenen animierten Comic-shorts. Er ist auch bekannt für radio-Hörer als John Avery Whittaker auf Adventures in Odyssey.

Smith wird oft falsch angegeben Kredit für das schreiben der Film Kam Es von Unter dem Meer, sowie zehn weitere produzierte Spielfilme. Die wahre co-Autor der Filme ist Harold Jacob Smith, der schrieb, als "Hal Smith" bis 1958.
