Der Surete-Kommissar weist Inspektor Clouseau und Sergeant Deux-Deux, eine Nacht zu verbringen in der Louvre-Galerie, in der Hoffnung, den Fleck, einem berüchtigten Kunst Dieb in der Akt des Diebstahls Gemälde.
