Nas Correntes de Luz da Ria Formosa (In den Strahlen des Lichts des Ria Formosa) ist eine Art Dokumentarfilm gedreht über einen Zeitraum von 3 Monaten im Sommer 1997 und bearbeitet im Laufe der nächsten 2 ein halb Jahre. Die Arbeit ist ein spirituelles Porträt von Ort und Zeit. Es ist, wie Cabanas, absichtlich langsamen, meditativen, passiven. Es hat keine offensichtlichen Erzählung, aber ich hoffe, ich konnte in meiner Bearbeitung und andere Möglichkeiten zu vermitteln, eine Art des sich langsam entwickelnden Dynamik die Funktionen vage, wie eine Erzählung, oder wie der melodischen Linie in ein Stück Musik. Schließlich LUZ ist rund um Licht, und philosophisch über das Leben und unseren Platz auf diesem Planeten, und seinen Platz im Universum.
