Dieser zutiefst bewegende Dokumentarfilm begleitet eine kleine Gruppe von Israelis und Gaza-Bewohnern durch das dramatischste und tragischste Jahr ihres Lebens. Mit persönlichen und bisher unveröffentlichten Aufnahmen erzählt er die Geschichte des Krieges in Gaza und der Anschläge vom 7. Oktober anhand zutiefst emotionaler Geschichten beider Konfliktparteien. In Gaza begleitet der Film drei Personen von ihrer Reaktion auf die Anschläge vom 7. Oktober über den Beginn der Bombardierung durch das israelische Militär bis hin zum Verlust von Familienmitgliedern, den alle drei erleiden. In Israel sehen wir Aufnahmen der israelischen Opfer der Terrorattacke, als sie und ihre Familienmitglieder am 7. Oktober von der Hamas angegriffen werden, und verfolgen dann ihre Geschichten im Laufe des Jahres.
