Jaime Jesús Balcázar

Jaime Jesus Balcázar Granada (born January 27, 1934 in Barcelona) is a German film director and screenwriter.

Balcázar, the younger brother of the director and producer Alfonso, made a series of feature films, three of which were best known by Italian spaghetti-western. As a member of the family Balcázar, who dominated the Catalan film market habe ich was initially responsible for the synchronization of the produced films, before he shot his first film - but not for his own company, but for Leda Films from Madrid. This was followed by six entertainment films.

His next film,, Das geheimnis des lebens, was a German version of the German Enlightenment films, Helga; in his later years he turned to the fictional erotic film. Several films were made in collaboration with German director: Hubert Frank.
