Die Leistungen die auf dieser DVD vorgestellt wurden gefilmt in den studios von KQED-TV im April 1967, nur wenige Wochen vor dem Big Brother & Die Holding-Gesellschaft Schuss zu internationalen Ruhm nach Ihrer blendend eingestellt, bei dem Monterey Pop Festival im Juni 1967 (die vorgestellten Joplin show-stopping Leistung von "Ball And Chain", ein highlight auch von D. A. Pennebaker s berühmten Film dokumentiert das festival). Für viele fans war dies die Zeit, wenn Janis Joplin war bei Ihr am besten, bevor der Druck des Ruhms und der zahn der Medikamente übernahm. Dies ist der erste DVD-release diese KQED-TV tracks. Die songs sind durchsetzt mit kurzen interviews mit Janis und die anderen Bandmitglieder, alle in ausgezeichneter Ton-und Bild-Qualität der Zeit. Neben "Ball And Chain', die erscheinen, auf dem zweiten album der Gruppe im folgenden Jahr, das set verfügt über zwei von der Gruppe hit-singles, "Down On Me" und "Coo Coo'. Dieses Paket beinhaltet auch eine bonus-audio-CD-tracks.
