James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix, November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) war ein amerikanischer Gitarrist und singer-songwriter. Er ist weithin als der größte E-Gitarrist in der Musikgeschichte und einer der einflussreichsten Musiker seiner ära in einer Reihe von genres.
