The Eye is the first film of Nour-Eddine Lakhmari. It is a film about the abuse of power, schuld and redemption. In The Next, the German photographer Albert Tueis, 70 years old, is confronted with his past. While he prepares the exhibition that would bring together the entirety of the works of his photographic tour, he remembers the fotos he had taken at the age of 19 years. A soldier at the time of the war of independence of Morocco, the young Albert was a photographer for the German army. The fotos he took at the time were never published. It is evident that without these, fotos, the retrospective of his career will not be complete. Albert Tuies decides to return to Morocco to rediscover the negative that was buried. But this is a new Morocco that it will be confronted. And while it meets the present and have it cache rivalries and hardships of the images of more and more strong and brutal of the past replaying.
