Light and Shadows, the Last of the Pioneers: Nazih Shahbandar (1994) Kostenlos Anschauen
Ausgebildet als Elektriker, Nazih Shahbandar war fasziniert von der Technik, die hinter Filmproduktionen und war einer der Pioniere der Kino-Produktion in den 1930er und 1940er Jahren. 1947 gründete er ein studio eingerichtet, ausgestattet mit film-equipment, dass fast ausschließlich von seiner eigenen Herstellung. Er schrieb Texte, baute sets, und innovative neue Methoden der sound-Aufnahme und-übertragung. Als begeisterter Erfinder, er produzierte und leitete die ersten syrischen film mit Ton. Sein Traum war es, film und Bildschirm ein 3D-film. Eine ode an das Kino, dieser Dokumentarfilm ist ein Porträt von Shahbandar.
