Schwertmeister Goemon hat bei einem Yakuza-Clan angeheuert. Als deren Kasino abbrennt und ihr Boss im Feuer umkommt, muss Goemon das Opfer rächen. Doch sein Gegner ist ein Auftragskiller namens Hawk, der auch der "Geist von Bermuda" genannt wird. Einst soll er 2000 Soldaten im Alleingang getötet haben, vor 13 Jahren aber bei einer geheimen Operation auf den Bermudainseln umgekommen sein. Mehrere Nachrichtendienste haben nun herausgefunden, dass er noch lebt, und auch Zenigata ist hinter dem Phantom her. Tatsächlich scheint Hawk unzerstörbar zu sein - was sogar Goemon beinahe verzweifeln lässt. Doch im Duell gegen den Geist von Bermuda und sich selbst können dem Schwertmeister diesmal auch seine Freunde Lupin und Jigen nicht helfen ...
