Théo ist der neue Nachbar von Elise. Im Fahrstuhl kreuzen sich immer wieder ihre Wege. Schon das erste Treffen ist explosiv, denn Elise ist blind und Théo beschwert sich über ihr Ungeschick. Die Abneigung gegen den anderen ist offensichtlich. Elise hält ihn für einen Versager, was er nicht auf sich sitzen lassen will. Aus einer Provokation heraus gibt Théo vor, ebenfalls blind zu sein.
