Die verschiedensten bunten Ponys leben im paradiesgleichen Ponyland friedlich zusammen. Doch ihre traumhafte Welt wird von böser Magie, Hexen und Zauberern bedroht. Gemeinsam mit den Menschenkindern Annabelle, Molly und Danny, die über den Regenbogen in das Ponyland reisen, stellen sich das Erdpony, das geflügelte Pegasuspony und das Einhorn-Pony der Gefahr.
