Ein junger Londoner Biologe und verbringt die meiste seiner Zeit, verfolgen Mädchen eher als die Verfolgung der Wissenschaft. Wenn sich die Gelegenheit zu gehen, um die Antarktis zu studieren, eine Kolonie von Pinguinen die sich stellt, verpflichtet er sich, zu gehen, nicht so sehr für die Wissenschaft, sondern das Mädchen zu beeindrucken, hat er vor kurzem die Jagd. Desto länger bleibt er in der Antarktis, desto mehr wird er wirklich daran interessiert, die Pinguine überleben kämpfen. Wenn die Zeit nach Hause zu gehen, endlich kommt, ist er ein anderer Mensch mit einem völlig neuen Ausblick auf das Leben.
