Ein Auto-Elektriker, Charis, verbringt sein ganzes Geld auf Schneider zu geben, um das Aussehen von einem "Herrn". Er ständig Kämpfe mit seinem Bruder, Vasilis, der auch ein Tag der Arbeiter (Maler), gesattelt mit allen gemeinsamen Kosten des Hauses. Charis glaubt, dass seine sieht, wird eines Tages gewinnen eine reiche Frau und damit sein Leben verändern und die Lösung für alle seine Probleme. Martha aber, die wohlhabende Tochter des Reeders Karapezis, fällt in der Liebe mit und heiratet seinen Bruder Vasilis (nachdem er Ihr das Leben gerettet) ohne Rücksicht für Ihren Vater die Meinung oder Vasilis' Mangel an Geld.
