Ende Juni, und viel von dem land ist kahl. Es gibt Klänge von fließendem Wasser, und Tümpel glänzen überall. Die Frau trägt Heidekraut und Moos zum Lager und der Mann macht einen wirbelnden bullroarer für die Jungen. Ein anderes Kind vorgibt, fahren mit dem Hundeschlitten. Eine Frau arbeitet sehnen in der bogensehne, während ein anderer beschäftigt sich mit einer Versiegelung der Haut. Eine Frau bereitet sich auf eine Mahlzeit Kochen, und ein Mann macht einen Bogen aus Knochen und sehnen. Es ist eine anspruchsvolle Aufgabe, zu kombinieren, solche Materialien in eine starke geschmeidige Waffe; das Ergebnis ist erfreulich, auf den Mann zu. Am nächsten Tag die Männer bewegen sich auf dem Meereis mit einem Hund zu suchen Robbenbabys.
