Es ist das Jahr 1995. Zwei college-Mitbewohner, Dylan und Rob, machen einen Film namens "Grausameres Als die Wahrheit" mit einer Gruppe von Freunden in Colorado und Chicago. Während der Dreharbeiten Dylan stößt auf Rob ' s diary und beginnt heimlich zu Lesen. Seine beunruhigende Entdeckungen, die Rob wirklich ist, gepaart mit seinem eigenen versteckten Reiz auf ihn zu, allmählich Masche mit dem "film im film" zu erstellen, eine fragmentierte Realität. Gedreht in 16mm, in 1995-1996, und hat vor kurzem nach einer erfolgreichen Kickstarter-Kampagne, "Anhalten der Uhr" ist eine lebende Zeitkapsel 20 Jahre in der Herstellung.
