In der Susukino rot-Licht-Viertel von Sapporo, eine private detektiv (Yo Oizumi) Alkohol trinkt seinen Fahrer Takada (Ryuhei Matsuda) in seiner Lieblings-bar. Dort erhält er einen Anruf von einer Frau, die identifiziert sich selbst als Kyoko Kondo. Die Frau bittet den detektiv um komplette einfache Aufgabe. Der detektiv, mit einem ausgezeichneten Sinn für Gefahr, denkt, die Arbeit ist leicht, und übernimmt den Fall. Am nächsten Tag beginnt er die Untersuchung.
