'Zu erinnern, manchmal braucht man andere archäologische Werkzeuge", sagt der voice-over in Hiwa K-s-Pre-Image (Blind wie die Muttersprache). Das video zeigt den Künstler bei der Wanderung über Felder, ödnis, Immobilien, gehen aus der Türkei nach Athen und dann nach Rom, ein Weg, der Spiegel seiner eigenen Reise als Kind, wenn er floh Irakisch-Kurdistan und Europa erreicht zu Fuß. Seine "Vor-Bilder" sind Fragmente von einem Weg, dessen endgültiges Ziel ist ungewiss. In Auftrag gegeben von der Documenta 14.
