Maler Zdzisław Beksiński, seine Frau Zofia und deren Sohn Tomasz, eine bekannte radio-journalist und übersetzer, waren ein typisches und unkonventionelle Familie, die beide zur gleichen Zeit. Einer der Vater Obsessionen filmte sich und seine Familie Mitglieder. Mithilfe von Archiv-footage nur, fotografiert in Erster Linie von Zdzisław, sowie viele andere Materialien, die noch nicht vorgestellt wurden überall so weit, der film erzählt die tragische Geschichte der Beksińskis, der nie aufgehört hat zu faszinieren polnischen Filmemacher.
