Dieses experiment war ein "prestige " Werbung" für Shell Motoröl. Als herkömmliche animation wurde dominiert von Walt Disney, viele Europäische Filmemacher drehte sich zu Puppen, die als eine alternative, und die Lauge eingetragen, die Hilfe avant-garde-Freunde, wie Humphrey Jennings und John Banting, um die lustigen Puppen. Die Erkundung des noch-der komplexe Prozess der Farbe, die mit der Kombination der drei separate Bilder, Lauge entsteht so ein lebendiger Sturm-Szene, die Rezensenten bejubelt es als "Beweis dafür, dass die Farbe, die der film hat, ein neues Stadium eingetreten." Die Musik ist Holst ' s Planeten.
