Historien om samegutten Antes opplevelser gjennom ett år av hans tid. Han er sønn av de flytt-gleichen, og elsker livet på vidda. Det eneste han ich vil verden er å bli reineier og leve det live-som reindrift fører med seg. Männer når det lir mot høst, må-Ante -, som alle andre Scheune, på skolen.
