Dieses Konzert der Cranberries wurde im Dezember 1999 vor einem großen und wild begeisterten französischen Publikum aufgenommen. Beneath the Skin: Live in Paris unterstreicht indes O'Riordans entspanntere, weibliche Bühnenpersönlichkeit. Ebenso ist der Sound, den die Gründungsmitglieder Mike Hogan (Bass), dessen Bruder Noel Hogan (Gitarre) und Fergal Lawler (Schlagzeug) erzeugen, wesentlich runder und voller.
