Nach der Trennung aufgrund seines unberechenbaren, alkoholbedingten Temperaments versucht Frank, seine Frau Laura zurückzugewinnen, indem er ihr eine wunderschöne antike Halskette schenkt, die er in einem alten Beweismittelsack von 1938 auf der Polizeiwache gefunden hat. Unglücklicherweise ist die Halskette ein Kanal für die gequälte Seele eines bösen Jungen aus längst vergangenen Zeiten, und Laura und ihre Töchter geraten in schreckliche Gefahr durch einen kleinen Jungen, der nicht mehr existiert.
