Ein film, der in einem kleinen polnischen Dorf in den 60er Jahren, die sich mit einem Jungen Mädchen, das Erwachen der Sexualität. Mala, über 13, lebt bei Ihrer ledigen Mutter und hat einen Freund in Ihrem Alter. Das Dorf ist geschickt in eine Unruhe, die durch die Ankunft der clan der Zigeuner, die das Lager in das Feld ein. Zigeuner sind geächtet und verdammt, als 'Teufel' von den konservativen Dorfbewohner. Mala ist angezogen, die Zigeuner. Aber die einheimischen Angriff auf Ihr camp, mit wasserschläuchen und Zigeuner bewegen.
