S.W. Erdnase ist das Pseudonym des wohl berüchtigtsten Falschspielers des 19. Jahrhunderts. Sein Buch "The Expert at the Card Table" wird heute als die Bibel der Kartenmagie bezeichnet und zählt somit zur Grundlektüre eines jeden Zauberkünstlers. Seine wahre Identität ist noch immer ungewiss und bildet ein Mysterium, welches selbst die besten Illusionisten im Dunkeln tappen lässt. Die größten Zauberer der Jetztzeit begeben sich auf die Suche nach dem verschollenen Genie.
