Der Krieg kommt zu einem kleinen abgelegenen Dorf in der Vojvodina. Die deutschen nehmen eine Gruppe von Geiseln durch den Ort und auf Ihre Weise belästigen einen kleinen Jungen. Als Rache den Jungen setzt die Deutsche mais in Brand. Eine intelligente und kluge Gestapo-Offizier Sicer ankommt, zu untersuchen. Er nicht einmal vermuten, dass er sich gegen eine Gruppe von kleinen Jungen, geführt von Mailand und Vaso, und befiehlt, dass alle Männer aus dem Dorf ergriffen werden, um das Sorgerecht. Er kündigt an, dass ein Mann wird erschossen, jeden Tag, es sei denn, der wahre Schuldige Schritte vorwärts. Kinder, die Kontakt zu den Partisanen.
