Während der guten alten Tage der Russischen Aristokratie, das heißt, vor der Oktoberrevolution, in der Stadt Moskau gab es ein schickes restaurant, das Catering, um den Appetit und die egos der reichen. In einer solchen Einrichtung arbeitet ein im mittleren Alter Kellner, der widmet sich dem Dienst für seine bourgeoisie Kunden richtig.
