Ein film verloren. Lieutenant Shannon ( Owen Moore ) findet sich gestrandet auf einer Insel und wirft eine Flasche mit einer Nachricht in das Meer, in der Hoffnung es zu erreichen Zivilisation. Sein mutiger Geist beeindruckt die wilden Inseln und der König bietet ihm die hand seiner Tochter in der Ehe. Ein Rettungstrupp plötzlich unterbricht die Hochzeit bereits im Gange, und der Leutnant ist wieder vereint mit seiner Liebsten Louise Spencer ( Mary Pickford ). Das Herz-gebrochene Mädchen allein steht, wie eine statue auf einem Felsen, als Sie sieht, wie das Boot tragen, Weg den Mann, den Sie liebte.
