Die Erzählung von Victor Karloch eine viktorianische Geistergeschichte Marionetten-Kurzfilm, bei dem 30 cm hohen Stab-Marionetten, traditionelle Schatten-Puppenspiel, rotoscope und Rückprojektion präsentieren sich die Abenteuer von Victor Karloch, Alchimist, Gelehrter, " und " ghost hunter, da er die Schlachten der übernatürlichen Kräfte des Unbekannten. In diesem kurzen film (was wird die erste von vielen Geschichten), Victor Karloch erhält ein Tagebuch von einem Kollegen, der beteiligt ist in der Bergungsarbeiten für eine Reihe von fehlenden See-Frachter in der Nordsee.
