The Passion According to the Polish Community of Pruchnik (2009) Kostenlos Anschauen

In der kleinen Stadt Pruchnik im südöstlichen Teil von Polen Dorfbewohner versammeln sich jedes Jahr am Karfreitag zu "bestrafen" Judas für seinen Verrat an Jesus. Eine larger-than-life-Strohmann mit einem hakenförmigen Nase gezogen, durch die Stadt, geschlagen, enthauptet, verbrannt und geworfen in den Fluss. Der film untersucht die dünne Linie zwischen heidnischen und christlichen Riten, während aussetzen, die manchmal brutal und unverhohlen antisemitischen Unterströmungen der christlichen Praxis.
