Im 15 Jahrhundert in Spanien alle Juden und Muslime, die bestellt wurden, aus dem Land von Königin Isabella. Der junge Joshua und seine Familie aus dem Land fliehen mit den anderen Verbannten, und schließlich sich in Italien.
