Christmas Eve. Ein armer verwaister junge stapft durch den Schnee, pathetisch. Er kommt endlich zu seiner Elenden Hütte. Während er weint, Santa kommt und singt den Titel-song, bietet an, den Jungen in seine Werkstatt. Sie kommen, und die toys go wild (in der Vollversion, Sie singen den Titelsong, aber das wurde zensiert-in einigen Versionen durch veraltete Stereotypen). Er spielt mit ein paar Spielsachen. Eine Kerze fällt vom Baum und fängt Feuer. Die Spielsachen versuchen vergeblich, das Feuer zu bekämpfen; der junge Haken, bis ein Schlauch von einer Reihe von Dudelsack und kümmert sich um es.
