Sie ist eine der letzten shepherdesses, die noch lebt mit Ihrer Herde in den Höhen des Gya-Miru-Tal in Ladakh. Im Alter von 50, Tsering ist der jüngste in Ihr Dorf zu fahren, Ihr 350 Ziegen und Schafe, die auf Kosten der wandertierhaltung in dieser region des Himalaya, liegt zwischen 4000 und 6000 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel. Ein hart und prekär das Leben, oft einsam, misshandelt durch die schwierigen klimatischen Bedingungen und einer manchmal feindlichen Natur, die nicht verhindern, dass diese kleine Frau zu singen, zu lachen und ... zu philosophieren.
