Johnny Örbäck ist eine ehemalige Sozialdemokratische top-Politiker. Im moment ist er Geschäftsführer der HSB Malmö. Er sieht Calatravas Bildhauerei und verliebt sich. Eine Idee ist geboren - wäre es möglich zu bauen wie ein Haus an der alten Werft-Bereich in Malmö? Der erste Spatenstich ist stellte sich und das Projekt wächst, das budget ist überschritten, über und über. Johnny Örbäck setzt seinen eigenen Ruf in Gefahr. "Wenn dieses Projekt in Schwierigkeiten ich bin in Schwierigkeiten!" Santiago Calatrava ist ein Künstler, ein Ingenieur und ein Architekt. Er hat Brücken gebaut, Flughäfen und Opernhäuser auf der ganzen Welt. Turning Torso ist mit seinen ersten Wolkenkratzer. Es kann nicht schief gehen. Es führt den Weg in die Hauptstadt aller Wolkenkratzer: in New York City. Ingvar Nohlin ist zuständig für die HSB-Projekten und wer übernimmt die gemeinsamen Fürbitten zwischen dem Unternehmer und dem Architekten -das Projekt muss sich innerhalb der Grenzen des Budgets, ohne dass das design vernachlässigt wird.
