Die Geschichte von Bendegúz, die teenager-Jungen, der nie gelingt, etwas von den everybody ' s erste aber ist "ich Wünsche Ihnen gehängt worden war, als Sie geboren wurden!" fällt aus der Schule und wird cowboy. Er arbeitet für den Stationsvorsteher, dessen Kühe er auf die Weide durch die Bahn. Trotz seinem Wohlwollen und Güte schafft er es immer wieder, alles zu verderben, die er berührt. Egal, seinen Witz, er bekommt in demütigende Situationen und kämpft regelmäßig mit der Hässlichen Hexe (der Bahnhofsvorsteher Mutter-in-law). Aber sein guter Geist und die Lebensfreude nie verlassen ihn.
